Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing teletherapy services primarily to students in grades 6-12. This role involves delivering speech-language support with an emphasis on language development and articulation. Services will be provided remotely, adapting therapy techniques to a virtual format to meet students’ communication needs efficiently.
Location: Lakeville, MN
Work Schedule: Approximately 10 hours per week
Contract Duration: Immediate start through the end of the school year
Student Population: Middle and high school students (grades 6-12)
Service Delivery Model: Caseload-based
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide teletherapy speech-language services focusing on language and articulation goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Document progress and participate in team meetings as required
- Utilize district systems for IEP management and comply with documentation standards
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication outcomes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current SLP certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience delivering teletherapy services in educational settings
- Familiarity with school-based caseload management and language/articulation disorders
- Comfort working with middle and high school age groups
- Ability to work independently and maintain professional documentation
