What you'll need to succeed:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license, eligible to practice in Rhode Island
• Proven experience in a school, pediatric, or healthcare setting
• Ability to adapt therapy sessions to meet student-specific needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with families, staff, and students
• Compliance with all vaccination requirements, including full COVID-19 vaccination (required for working with immunocompromised students)
• Background check clearance

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver one hour of targeted physical therapy each week to a student in need
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and adjust therapeutic strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with educational staff to ensure therapies are aligned with the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and progress reports
• Uphold the highest standards of safety, privacy, and professionalism at all times
• Offer guidance and support to families and educational personnel regarding the student’s progress and needs
