School-Based Physical Therapist - Lyndonville, NY

This contract, part-time position offers 15-20 hours per week and starts September 8th, 2026. You'll play a key role in empowering students to reach their fullest potential while working alongside dedicated educators in a collaborative school environment.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Experience providing PT services in a school setting, preferably with K-12 aged children
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Flexibility to collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers
• Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based practices

Your primary responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored physical therapy interventions to K-12 students as indicated by IEPs or referrals
• Evaluate, assess, and document students’ progress throughout the school year
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments
• Coach and consult with staff regarding strategies for student mobility, access, and classroom participation
• Support students in achieving their educational and functional goals with compassion and creativity
• Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school and state guidelines
