Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; specialist-level graduate degree (Ed.S. or master's with at least 60 graduate units) in School Psychology
- Valid California Department of Education credential for School Psychology services
- Certified copy of transcripts
- Experience with psychological assessment, special education support, or school-based services (preferred)
- Demonstrated strengths in communication, organization, collaboration, and interpersonal relations
- Able to work effectively with a diverse range of students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group psychoeducational assessments for students with learning, emotional, or behavioral needs
- Recommend interventions, accommodations, and supports for special education services
- Prepare for and actively participate in IEP meetings, coordinating closely with teachers and parents
- Provide guidance and consultation to school staff on instructional strategies, behavioral interventions, and IEP implementation
- Coordinate IEP processes for new student referrals, including family communications and classroom visits
- Serve as a liaison among students, families, educational staff, and external providers or agencies
- Maintain diligent and confidential documentation that meets school and state standards
- Act as an administrative designee when necessary
