Special Education Teacher in Broomfield, CO

Step into an exciting opportunity supporting students at Manhattan Middle School in Boulder, CO! This contract position offers the chance to work with a diverse group of learners within a dedicated special education setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. As a full-time Special Education professional, you will play a key role in a collaborative team, supported by paraeducators, BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, and a School Psychologist/Social Worker.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid (or in-process) CDE license required—must provide active documentation with your resume
• At least one year of classroom experience in a K-12 or middle school environment
• Strong teamwork skills and the flexibility to collaborate effectively with peers and support staff
• Committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for every student

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and individualized support to a classroom of 10 students, working collaboratively with paraeducators and peer mentors
• Implement IEPs and modify curricula to meet the unique learning needs of each student
• Partner closely with interdisciplinary team members including BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, and school psychologist/social worker
• Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress to support positive educational outcomes
• Foster a welcoming, organized classroom climate where all students can thrive
