Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid CDE licensure required
- Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt to dynamic caseload needs; flexibility regarding the assignment end date
- Skilled in collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective support plans
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Role & Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary school students on a part-time schedule (4 days per week)
- Assess and document students’ functional skills, needs, and progress
- Implement appropriate interventions and therapies tailored to individual IEP goals
- Consult and partner with school staff and caregivers to support classroom inclusion and student development
- Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with district and state requirements
