Physical Therapist - School Setting in Albion, NY

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist
• Prior experience working with school-aged children, ideally in educational or pediatric settings
• Ability to assess, devise, and implement individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication and documentation skills to support collaboration with staff and families
• Experience supporting students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade is highly desirable
• Flexibility to accommodate varying caseloads and needs throughout the school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to develop and adapt interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions and student progress
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP goal setting
• Educate school personnel on strategies that support student movement and safety
