Occupational Therapist School Setting in Derry, NH

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist, supporting students across the Nashua, Manchester, and Derry area. This full-time position offers you the chance to work 37.5 hours per week, engaging with learners in both elementary and charter school environments spanning K-12 grades. You’ll spend four days a week collaborating with educators and students in various charter schools, with one dedicated day each week at a welcoming elementary school campus. This assignment begins September 3rd and runs through June 17th, coinciding with the academic calendar.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in school-based settings, home health, or healthcare-focused Occupational Therapy preferred
• Comfortable working with diverse student populations from kindergarten through high school
• Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
• Ability to adapt interventions across grade levels and student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group therapy for students requiring OT services
• Assess students, develop goals, and document progress in compliance with IEPs and educational best practices
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
• Support students’ abilities to participate in daily school routines and activities
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to evaluations, and provide professional recommendations
