This contract role runs from August 4, 2026, through May 21, 2027, and offers a chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of 10 dedicated students alongside collaborative peer mentors.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have at least one year of classroom experience in special education.
• Flexible team player ready to collaborate with paraeducators and ancillary staff.
• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license required—or in process of obtaining (must provide documentation with application).
• Ability to deliver individualized instruction and accommodations according to IEPs.
• Enthusiasm for fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans for a classroom of 10 students.
• Collaborate with paraeducators, therapists, and support staff to promote student success.
• Integrate peer mentors into daily lessons and classroom routines.
• Maintain clear communication with families and school personnel regarding student progress.
• Track goals, monitor progress, and adapt strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Uphold all state and local educational standards and compliance requirements.
