Occupational Therapist School Setting in Merrimack, NH

Step into a pivotal role as an Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across multiple school sites, providing comprehensive OT services to a diverse student population. You'll collaborate with educators and other specialists, with some students utilizing assistive and augmentative communication (AAC) devices. Flexibility and adaptability will be key as you manage your caseload and work within a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Bring:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Familiarity or willingness to quickly learn about AAC devices and their integration in therapy
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites as needed
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to student care
• Adaptable and organized—able to adjust strategies based on changing student or campus needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12, as outlined in IEPs
• Evaluate and document students’ needs, progress, and outcomes in compliance with school policies
• Collaborate with educational teams, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Offer input for assessments, treatment planning, and modifications to classroom environments when indicated
• Travel between assigned school locations, maintaining consistency and continuity of care
