American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level III trauma center, requiring 2+ years of hospital CT experience and proficiency with GE and Siemens equipment.
Details\n- \n
- Short-term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds, part of Yale New Haven Health System \n
- 4x10 night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM \n
- Call and weekend coverage required as needed by the department \n
- Will float between two hospital locations in CT and RI, requiring licensure in both states \n
- Uses GE Optima CT660 scanner \n
- EPIC charting system used \n
- Adult and pediatric outpatient, emergency department, and ICU work settings \n
- Performs abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal CT studies with and without contrast \n
- Performs special procedures including biopsies, aspirations, drainage, coronary CTA, vascular CTA, and CT arthrography \n
- \n
- Minimum 1.5-2 years of hospital CT experience required \n
- BLS certification required \n
- ARRT(CT) and ARRT(R) certifications required \n
- CT and RI state licenses required if applicable \n
- Experience with both GE and Siemens equipment required \n
- Epic charting experience required \n
- Level I or Level II trauma center experience preferred \n
- Teaching and community hospital experience preferred \n
- Skills in image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement preferred \n
- Experience with contrast media preparation and administration, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture \n
- 1 professional reference required for consideration \n

- Free parking available on site \n
- Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted \n
- COVID vaccine and booster required, with religious or medical exemptions only \n
- Travelers may be required to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities \n
- Up to 7 days of RTO can be auto-approved \n
- Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted \n
- Former staff must have separated from the facility for at least 2 years to return as a traveler \n
