Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring critical care and IR procedural experience with an active NY RN license.

Details\n

\n
• Work in the Interventional Radiology department of a hospital setting
\n
• Department includes 2 angiographic rooms, 1 small image-guided treatment room, and a dedicated fluoroscopic CT room
\n
• Facility includes a 7-bed dedicated PACU and a 14-bed ambulatory recovery unit
\n
• Services both inpatient and outpatient populations daily
\n
• Performs a wide variety of procedures including angiography, embolization, drainage, tumor ablations, and image-guided biopsies
\n
• Uses EPIC EMR
\n
• Rotating on-call requirement
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active and clear NY RN license required
\n
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
\n
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Critical Care setting required
\n
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an Interventional Procedural Department (IR, Cardiology, Vascular Interventions, or Neuro IR) required
\n
• EPIC EMR experience required
\n
• 5 years of Critical Care experience preferred
\n
• 3 years of Interventional Procedural Department experience preferred
\n
• Prior travel experience preferred
\n

Additional Information\n

• Perform a wide range of IR procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolizations, drainages, tumor ablations, and image-guided biopsies
\n
• Scrubs are provided
\n
• Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility are accepted
