Schedule: 8 hour day shifts. Standard shift time is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Overtime may be available when cases run late. No call required (optional call may be available).

Position Overview
\n Provide CRNA coverage in a care team model with physician anesthesiologist supervision. This role supports multiple anesthesia sites and a broad surgical case mix as outlined in the order details.
Clinical Scope

- Supervision ratio: approximately 1 physician to 2 to 3 CRNAs \n
- Case mix includes general and colorectal, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, orthopedics, cataracts, pacemakers, cardioversions, TEE, and GI \n
- No heads or neuro, no trauma, and no open hearts \n
- Pediatric cases are not required for locums CRNAs as outlined in the order details \n
- Charting: paper \n
Required Qualifications

- Current license CRNA \n
- Graduation from a nurse anesthesia education program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs \n
- Current certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification or Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists, or eligibility as outlined in the order details \n
- Active Connecticut license required to present \n
