American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and current BLS certification for a 13-week day shift assignment.
Details\n- \n
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM \n
- 4 shifts per week at 10 hours per shift \n
- 13-week contract assignment \n
- Performs mammography and related medical imaging procedures to demonstrate breast anatomy for diagnosis and/or intervention \n
- \n
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist \n
- Current BLS certification required \n
- License required if applicable \n
- Ability to corroborate patient clinical history with procedure and ensure proper documentation \n
- Ability to prepare patients for procedures and provide clear instructions to obtain desired results \n

- Performs diagnostic radiography procedures by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment \n
- Produces images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner \n
- Exercises professional judgment and maintains a demeanor consistent with medical ethics \n
- Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures \n
