American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist with 1+ year of experience for a night shift role at a community teaching hospital.
Details\n- \n
- Work in the MRI department serving both outpatient and inpatient populations \n
- Utilizes a Philips 3T MRI scanner \n
- Performs routine MRI imaging including MSK, Neuro, and Body studies, as well as prostate and perfusion imaging \n
- 5x8 hour night shifts, Sunday-Thursday, from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM \n
- No call requirement \n
- No weekend requirement \n
- No floating requirement, though travelers are expected to float first if needed \n
- May be asked to pick up additional shifts periodically \n
- \n
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required \n
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required \n
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required \n
- Teaching hospital experience required \n
- Community hospital experience required \n
- Trauma Level I experience preferred \n
- Experience with IV starts, contrast media preparation and administration, and PACS \n
- Proficiency in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, breast, spine, and musculoskeletal MRI procedures \n
- Experience with diffusion imaging, gradient echo imaging, image post-processing, MIP, MPR, perfusion, spin echo, surface coils, and T1/T2 weighted imaging \n
- Experience with Philips MRI equipment required; GE experience preferred \n
- EPIC and McKesson documentation system experience required \n
- Valid Michigan license required, if applicable \n
- Proof of flu vaccination required for consideration, with exemption requests submitted within 48 hours of signing if applicable \n
- Supervisor-level professional reference required \n

- First-time travelers will be considered for this position \n
- Navy blue scrubs required \n
- Care settings include outpatient, inpatient, ER, adult ICU, and adult acute care \n
- RTO limited to no more than 10 days during the assignment \n
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictions \n
- Previous internal travelers may return after 6 months, and previous permanent staff may return after 1 year \n
- Annual and orientation training modules must be completed as part of onboarding \n
