Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for ICU patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards. \n
- Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their direction. \n
- Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess patient data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients. \n
- Adhere to the facility's scheduling requirements, including nights, holidays, and on-call assignments as needed. \n
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using the EPIC electronic health records system. \n
- \n
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland (verification must be less than 30 days old). \n
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience required. \n
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification. \n
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification. \n
- Must be willing to obtain NIHSS Certification within 48 hours if offered. \n
- Must be willing to obtain mRs/SIREN Certification within 48 hours if offered. \n
- Prior experience with EPIC electronic health records system required. \n
- Previous travel nursing experience required. \n
- COVID vaccination required; declinations are not accepted and must be state-recorded. \n
- No scheduling restrictions; must be willing to work the facility's schedule. \n
- \n
- Experience in an acute care facility with high admission and emergency volume. \n
- Familiarity with ICU-specific skills checklists and competency documentation. \n
- \n
- Work at a well-established suburban acute and sub-acute care facility with a strong reputation for combining community and university-level medicine. \n
