\n· Number of Beds : 23
\n· Patient Ratios : 1:4, 1:5
\n· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Unit Secretary and PCTs
\n· Type of equipment : traction, fixators, cooling equipment
\n· Documentation system: Meditech
\n· Scheduling requirements: 3 12s, 3 weekend shifts per schedule period
\n· Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float. Would float to the other MedSurg level of care units (General MS, Nephrology, Neuro/Trauma)
\n· Patient Experience requirements: Bedside shift report, hourly rounding
\nHospital Specifics-
\n· Certifications: Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center
\nHiring profile
\nRequested Skill Set:
\nMust have : RN license, BLS
\nAdvanced skills needed: Ortho experience , Tele, NIH
\nProcedures performed on unit: Post op knee, hip and shoulder replacements, Trauma patients, some Neuro overflow – NIH is helpful
