Shift: 5 X 8s • 40 hrs / Week
Work Experience: \n- \n
- Maintains accuracy of patient identification on all specimens processed for microscopic examination. \n
- Performs surgical specimen dissection on simple to complex specimens and provides quality material for routine histology studies and other specialized tests as required. Obtains pathologist input for accurate gross specimen analysis when appropriate. \n
- Performs frozen sections and maintains the cryostats \n
- Dictates complete and accurate gross description. \n
\n ASCP PA Certifications:\n
\n BLS/CPR Certification.\n
