Location: Battle Creek MI
Shift: Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00 7:30
Job duration: 26 weeks or 13 weeks accepted
\n **Holiday coverage is required; however, any RTO during holidays must remain flexible to accommodate staffing demands.**
Must have OB, Mother/Baby and L&D
\n No RTO first TWO WEEKS of contract
\n Minimum years of experience: 2 years
\n Patient ratios – We follow AWHONN guidelines for staffing
\n Additional Requirements: Will work in all areas of LDRP
\n Certifications
\n Required: ACLS (AHA), BLS(AHA), NRP, AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM
\n Preferred: AWHONN Advanced
\n Skills
\n Required: Circulate, FHM Triage
\n Preferred: Scrub
\n WEEKEND REQUIREMENT: Will work every other weekend
\n FLOAT: Will float to the house as sitter when needed; will float to Bronson Methodist Kalamazoo, (27 miles) when the need exists and census allows.
\n CALL: None
\n EMR: EPIC
\n 15 bed LDRP unit with 3 triage bays and 2 operating rooms.
\n RNs provide antepartum, labor and delivery, OR circulating, scrub nurse, newborn nurse at delivery and couplet care. Our nurses perform lab draws and hearing screens on newborns.
\n Scrubs will be provided
\n Will be trained to complete newborn infant hearing screens (ALGO 5 Machine used)
