\nJob Details:
\n• 7 days on, 7 days off block schedule starting Thursday evening and ending Wednesday morning
\n • Night shift hours from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n • Every other weekend required
\n • No on-call required
\n • Position does not float between units
\n • 1:1 patient ratio
\n • Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
\n • 2 CT scan rooms available
\n • Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers must have over 5 years of experience
\n • Epic charting system experience required
\n • Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
\n • Scrub color: any color
\n • Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS
\n • Required skills include: 3D rendering, abdomen with/without contrast, chest with/without contrast, head with/without contrast, pelvis with/without contrast, carotid, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, musculoskeletal trauma, trauma head, vascular chest (pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), emergency department, ICU, PACS, preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, isolation precautions/PPE, and starting peripheral IVs
\n • Special equipment used: Siemens Flash, DRIVE, and EDGE
\n • Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
\n • Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
\n • 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Facility:
\nThis is a Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma teaching hospital with 209 total staffed beds. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, social services, lift teams, and rapid response teams. The CT department is staffed with 5 CT Techs on days, 3 on evenings, 1 on nights, and 2-3 on weekend days, and operates with Siemens imaging equipment.
