As our workload and customer base continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced New Construction HVAC Controls Tech to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who wants to work on new commercial construction projects, strengthen their building automation expertise, and build a long-term career with a company that continues to develop.What We Offer100% employer-paid medical insurance for employee and dependents401(k) retirement plan with a 4% company matchCompany-provided vehiclePaid holidays and paid time offKey Position ResponsibilitiesProgramming DDC controllers according to project plans and sequences of operationDeveloping and configuring building automation system graphicsCompleting point-to-point checks on newly installed control systemsStarting, tuning, and commissioning HVAC control equipmentPerforming functional performance testingAssisting third-party commissioning agents during system verificationDiagnosing field wiring, installation, communication, and programming problemsCoordinating with contractors, technicians, and project leadershipPreparing as-built records and other project closeout documentationConfirming completed systems meet project requirements before turnoverRequired Qualifications:Two or more years of experience with DDC controls or building automation systemsKnowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and control strategiesExperience programming controllers and creating system graphicsAbility to read plans, control drawings, and sequences of operationFamiliarity with BACnet, Modbus, or related communication protocolsStrong troubleshooting, organization, and communication skillsA valid driver's license and clean driving recordCandidates will be required to pass a drug screening & background check upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
