Director of Nursing

Empowered Staffing is partnered with an assisted living and memory care organization that is seeking a Director of Nursing to join their team in Saline. As the Clinical Leader of the facility, you will oversee and mentor the nursing staff, ensure high-quality care, and drive compliance initiatives.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure resident care is delivered safely and respectfully
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate with healthcare providers
• Oversee medication administration systems and audits
• Conduct resident assessments and maintain care plans
• Respond to family and resident concerns
• Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
• Recruit, train, and support the care team members

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an active state license
• 2 years of experience as a DON in Assisted Living
• Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer’s care preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficient with electronic charting and basic office software
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
