Competitive Pay: This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $25/hr. to $30hr., depending on experience and qualifications.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of rotating equipment including electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and associated components.
- This role supports both shop and field service operations, ensuring equipment is restored to OEM specifications and operates safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues on rotating equipment.
- Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
- Perform electrical testing including insulation resistance (megger), winding checks, and continuity testing.
- Troubleshoot motor control systems, starters, and VFDs.
- Conduct alignment (laser/dial), balancing, and vibration checks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on customer equipment.
- Complete detailed service reports, inspection documentation, and repair recommendations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in rotating equipment repair, maintenance, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of electric motors (AC/DC), pumps, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).
- Experience with vibration analysis and predictive maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of VFDs, PLC troubleshooting, or motor controls.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in industrial environments.
- Welding experience is a plus.
