The Quality Field Technical Support Specialist is responsible for supporting and maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety, technical performance, and operational compliance across the company’s co-manufacturers, suppliers, and distribution partners.


Location: Ft Laudedale, FL

Position Type: Full-Time, In-Office

Travel: 50–75% domestic travel required


This position requires a highly hands-on, detail-oriented professional who can work independently in fast-paced manufacturing environments and effectively communicate technical requirements to internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities


  • Visit manufacturing facilities and conduct quality audits.
  • Make sure suppliers and manufacturers follow quality and food safety standards.
  • Help troubleshoot production and quality issues.
  • Support new product trials and product changes.
  • Check equipment, production processes, and sanitation procedures.
  • Follow up on quality issues and corrective actions.
  • Perform and review quality testing.
  • Prepare simple audit reports and share findings with the team.
  • Work with Quality, Operations, R&D, and manufacturing partners.
  • Help improve production processes and product quality.


Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality control, technical support, production, or a related field.
  • Proven experience auditing manufacturing facilities, co-manufacturers, suppliers, or warehouses for compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Hands-on experience with product formulation, ingredient sourcing, flavor development, scale-up, and product trials.
  • Strong working knowledge of food safety and quality systems, including FDA, HACCP, SQF, GMP, SSOPs, and COP.
  • Experience with quality laboratory and production testing equipment, including HPLC, refractometers, TA, pH meters, CO₂ meters, seam testing, and torque testing.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and production equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
  • Experience supporting production trials, new product introductions, formulation changes, or commercialization activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cold-fill manufacturing processes, tunnel pasteurization, water treatment systems, brewing or other specialized processing technologies.
  • Experience working directly with co-manufacturers and contract manufacturers.
  • Experience with quality management systems, SPC software, or other data analytics platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline preferred.


Additional Requirements

  • 50–75% domestic travel is required.
  • Must be comfortable working in manufacturing, warehouse, and production environments for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and maintain focus and productivity in physically demanding environments.
  • Ability to work around production equipment, noise, temperature variations, wet environments, and other typical manufacturing conditions.
  • Must adhere to all applicable site safety, GMP, sanitation, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, sites, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to support production trials, audits, investigations, and other technical activities based on business needs.
