Job Description
In Person Therapist
Multicultural Alliance Health Care Solutions (MAHCS) is seeking compassionate, culturally competent
therapists to provide in-person, community-based mental health services throughout Broward County.
Therapists provide therapy in clients' homes and schools, serving a diverse population of children,
adolescents, and adults.

Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and adults in accordance
with individualized treatment plans and medical necessity. - Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and participate in the development,
implementation, and ongoing review of individualized treatment plans. - Maintain timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation, including progress notes,
treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, discharge summaries, outcome measures, and other
required documentation in accordance with agency policies and applicable regulatory and payer
requirements. - Administer and document required clinical screening and assessment tools as appropriate.
- Maintain an active caseload consistent with agency expectations and productivity standards.
- Collaborate with team members, referral sources, and other professionals involved in the
client's care to ensure continuity of services. - Attend and actively participate in required clinical supervision, team meetings, and mandatory
training. - Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, professional ethical
standards, confidentiality requirements, and agency policies and procedures. - Complete additional clinical or administrative responsibilities as assigned that are consistent
with the position.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family
Therapy, or a closely related behavioral health field from an accredited institution. - Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and the ability to apply appropriate
clinical interventions based on client needs. - Strong clinical documentation skills.
- Ability to establish effective therapeutic relationships with children, adolescents, adults, and
families. - Working knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) and the ability to maintain accurate,
timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) or active Florida Registered Intern (RMHCI, RCSWI,
or RMFTI) in good standing.
- Experience providing behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families.
- Experience working within community mental health, school-based, or outpatient behavioral
health settings. - Training or experience in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Trauma-Focused CBT
(TF-CBT), Play Therapy, or other evidence-based treatment modalities. - Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish, English/Haitian Creole, or other languages) are
encouraged to apply.
