Concordia is a Lutheran higher education community committed to helping students develop in mind, body and spirit for service to Christ in the Church and in the world.Position SummaryThe Testing Center/Navigate Coordinator assists with the facilitation of programs and services offered by the Academic Resource Center & Accessibility Services. The coordinator is responsible for three major endeavors: 1) Coordinating and supervising the services provided by the Testing Center, 2) providing assistive technology support to students and 3) serving as the campus EAB Navigate administrator. This is a 12-month, full-time position, 7:30AM – 4:00PM M-F, reporting to the Director of Academic Resources & Accessibility Services and is located on the Mequon Campus.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of the Testing Center including scheduling, and proctoring exams for students requiring specific academic accommodations including the CLEP and DSST.Manage alternative format textbook requests.Manage assistive technology for the department. Train, hire, and supervise proctors for exams on the Mequon campusCoordinate Testing Center space usages for other departments requiring testing services.Use Accessible Information Management System (AIM) to manage testing accommodations.Serve as the campus administrator for EAB Navigate, overseeing day-to-day platform management, user access, configurations, and system functionality.Maintain accurate documentation of Navigate processes, procedures, user expectations, and system changes.Provide training, support, and ongoing guidance to faculty, staff, advisors, and other users to ensure effective and consistent use of Navigate.Help market the Academic Resource Center and its services to all CUW faculty, staff, and students and build positive relationships.Provide support for accessibility services and assist the Director of the Academic Resource Center & Accessibility Services as needed.Work closely with faculty and students to provide testing that maintains student testing accommodations and the academic integrity of the test for online testing formats.Other duties as assignedEducation and ExperienceAn associate's degree is required, bachelor's degree preferred in a relevant field Experience working in higher education is desirablePhysical Demands/EquipmentKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesPositive and helpful disposition with the ability to take initiative and solve problems.Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.Able to learn about Americans with Disability Act Amendment Act (ADAAA) andSection 504 of the Rehabilitation Act as they apply to post-secondary institutions.Excellent communication skills (written and oral, in-person, and over the phone).Able to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge and skill in the use of computers and software in the academic setting.Ability to learn about adaptive technology and software programs used by the department.Available for occasional ZOOM meetings in the evening.An understanding of and commitment to CUW mission and ministry.Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)Compensation and BenefitsThis is a full-time, exempt (salary) staff position.
