Administrative Assistant / Office Support
Location: Midland, MI (onsite)
Job Type: 1+ year
Pay Rate: $19/hour on W2

Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and dependable Administrative Assistant / Office Support professional to provide administrative and clerical support to a group of employees. The ideal candidate will be comfortable coordinating meetings, managing schedules, supporting visitors, preparing reports, handling office activities, and using Microsoft Office applications.
This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, professional, and able to complete assigned tasks independently with general supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and clerical support to employees, leaders, and team members.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, including conference rooms, meeting supplies, food and beverages, and visitor arrangements.
- Receive and direct incoming calls, visitors, and mail.
- Prepare reports, documents, and other administrative materials.
- Coordinate meeting schedules and make calendar changes as needed.
- Research travel options including flights, hotels, and rental cars and assist with routine travel arrangements.
- Collect and scan receipts and assist with preparing expense reports.
- Maintain office supplies and inventory and place supply orders as needed.
- Serve as a point of contact for office equipment and troubleshoot routine equipment issues.
- Use Microsoft Office and other business software applications to complete daily administrative tasks.
- Maintain effective communication with team members and keep stakeholders informed of task status.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiency.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and within established timelines.
- Follow company safety expectations and demonstrate a commitment to a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree OR 1–3 years of relevant administrative, clerical, office support, or customer service experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP or other business/ERP systems is a plus.
- Experience coordinating meetings, visitors, travel, expenses, or office supplies is preferred.
- Experience supporting a team, department, managers, or leaders is a plus.
- Experience in a manufacturing, chemical, industrial, or corporate environment is helpful.
Note: SAP experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
