JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active New York License
  
• Board: Board Certified (Physician Assistant)
  
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS (AHA)
  
• Experience: Minimum 2 years recent experience in surgery
  
• Other Qualifications: Epic experience required; No residents or fellows accepted
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized patients as a Physician Assistant in General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Orthopedics.
  
• Serve as Surgical First Assist in the Operating Room, including cauterizing, suturing, positioning, and hemostasis.
  
• Perform Medical Surgical Floor coverage including rounding, progress notes, order management, discharges, and consults.
  
• Participate in on-call coverage including weeknight and weekend shifts.
  
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and quality care.
