Our client in Florida is seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in General Diagnostic Radiology with Light IR for a 60-day assignment starting Oct 1, 2026. This role involves a Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM EST schedule, focusing on a balanced mix of emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imaging. The successful candidate will manage strong CT utilization, routine stroke pathway imaging, comprehensive body imaging, broad ultrasound support, established MRI presence, and mammography services, alongside limited light interventional procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage balanced emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imaging volumes.
- Utilize CT imaging to support emergency department operations, including routine stroke pathway imaging and CTA studies.
- Perform consistent body imaging and abdominal CT workload.
- Provide broad ultrasound support, including vascular, women's imaging, venous duplex, gallbladder, renal, pelvic, and OB/GYN studies.
- Perform MRI studies, including brain, spine, shoulder, pelvis, and abdomen.
- Provide mammography services, supporting community screening and diagnostic programs.
- Conduct X-Ray imaging, including portable chest, chest 2 view, extremity, spine series, and KUB.
- Perform fluoroscopy procedures such as esophagrams, upper GIs, and swallow studies.
- Execute light interventional procedures, including paracentesis, thoracentesis, and basic image-guided procedures.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology, and Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology is required.
