Physical Therapist (PT) Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and be comfortable working across various departments. This role involves managing a caseload of inpatient clients, utilizing clinical expertise to promote recovery and improve patient outcomes.
Role Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional physical therapy services to inpatient clients.
- Manage a daily patient load of 7-8 clients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Float and rotate through units, including Med Surg, Orthopedics, Emergency Department, and Step Down, based on skillset and comfort level.
- Work within an environment that accommodates 22 inpatient physical therapists and 2 occupational therapy assistants.
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an inpatient setting is required.
- Must have experience in a Level 1 trauma or high-acuity facility.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically Epic, is required.
- Must have been separated from previous employment within the organization for at least 6 months to be considered.
- Guaranteed hours of 72 hours biweekly across all assignments.
- On-call time worked is not included in guaranteed hours.
