We’re looking for a strategic, people-focused Manager of Benefits & HCM Administration to take the lead in optimizing our HR systems, benefits programs, and administrative processes across multiple locations.
This is more than a benefits role. You’ll be a key leader in building an exceptional employee experience, strengthening HR operations, developing your team, and ensuring our people programs are ready for the future.

What You’ll Own
HCM Strategy & Administration
- Lead the development and implementation of HR system procedures and strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee day-to-day HCM and benefits system maintenance, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a seamless employee experience.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data integrity, and maximize HCM capabilities.
- Support change management initiatives, organizational restructuring, and other business-critical HR projects.
Benefits Leadership
- Own the administration of comprehensive employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, leave programs, and wellness initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits vendors, brokers, and partners.
- Lead annual benefits renewal and open enrollment from strategy through execution.
- Ensure benefits programs remain compliant with applicable regulations, including ACA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
- Help employees understand their benefits and provide responsive, solutions-oriented support for questions, claims, and complex issues.
Lead & Develop the Team
- Supervise, coach, and develop HCM and system administration team members.
- Set clear expectations and foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide meaningful training and development opportunities.
- Ensure the team delivers timely, accurate, and high-quality HR administration.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Stay current on federal, state, and local employment and benefits regulations.
- Partner across HR and the organization to maintain compliance and reduce risk.
- Prepare for and support audits involving HR, benefits, systems, and employee records.
- Establish strong processes and controls that protect both the organization and its employees.

Requirements:Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Strong experience in benefits administration and HCM administration.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
- Frequent use of computer and office equipment.
- May be required to attend events or meetings outside of standard business hours.
