Field Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician for a well-established company. The ideal candidate for the Field Service Technician role will be responsible for the safe and effective repair of machine components in the shop and field. This individual must work independently of direct supervision in a field environment.

Field Service Technician Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Technical school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs is preferred.

• Be responsible for conducting tasks in full compliance with International Drilling Equipment safety standards.

• Must possess and maintain your own set of tools.

• Responsible for diagnostics, preventative maintenance, modifications, and repair on all makes of drilling equipment and other equipment in the shop and in field environments.

• Plan methods and sequence of performing assigned activities.

• Ensure all records kept are legible and in compliance with established methods.

• Maintain and care for shop tools, equipment, and vehicles.

• Must be available at a moment’s notice to respond to IDE and customer needs.

• This position requires up to 80% travel annually.

• Ensure a suitable and sufficient risk assessment is carried out for all work activities.

• Promote safety in the shop and at field locations.

• Ensure the work site is safe and that all tools are used in a satisfactory condition.

Field Service Technician Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range of $52K - $72K, based on experience
