Job Summary:

Saint John Paul II is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our team in Danbury, Connecticut. As Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our healthcare team, ensure exceptional patient care, and foster a collaborative, positive work environment. Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care and effective communication.
• Clinical Oversight: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, clinical policies, and best practices, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Patient Care: Participate in patient assessment, care planning, and implementation, promoting a patient-centered approach and prioritizing individualized care.
• Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient outcomes, staff satisfaction, and unit efficiency.
• Communication: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage with patients and families, and maintain open communication with colleagues and supervisors.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field. (Level of Education: n/a)
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a strong background in leadership or management. (Minimum Years of Experience: 2)
• Certifications: Current RN license, with consideration given to those with specialized certifications (e.g., CCRN, CPN).

Benefits:

$48 - $53 HOURLY
