Apprentice Electricians

Primary Responsibilities

• Install and bend rigid conduit, EMT, and PVC
• Pull and install wire and cable
• Perform basic electrical terminations
• Install lighting, devices, panels, equipment, and branch wiring
• Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and drawings
• Assist with basic electrical troubleshooting and testing
• Safely use multimeters, continuity testers, and other electrical testing equipment
• Work effectively alongside Journeyman Electricians and other apprentices
• Follow all OSHA, customer, and jobsite safety requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Experience & Skill Requirements

• 2–4 years of electrical construction experience
• Strong rigid conduit bending and installation experience
• Commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred
• Basic understanding of the NEC
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings and blueprints
• Familiarity with electrical hand and power tools
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working indoors/outdoors and on ladders or elevated surfaces

Required Compliance

• OSHA 10 Construction – REQUIRED
• 10-Panel Drug Screen – REQUIRED
