Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Hospital-Based Setting
Twin Falls, Idaho
We are seeking a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a hospital-based contract opportunity in Twin Falls, Idaho. This role includes coverage across acute inpatient, acute rehab, skilled rehab, and outpatient rehab, offering a varied medical SLP caseload in a collaborative rehab department.
This is a strong fit for an experienced SLP who is comfortable in acute care, dysphagia management, and working independently with medically complex patients.
Position Highlights

- Patient Volume: 8–10 patients per day
- Around 3 SLPs on staff per day

Responsibilities
- Perform speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Treat patients with dysphagia, cognitive-linguistic deficits, communication disorders, and medically complex conditions.
- Common diagnoses may include stroke, pneumonia, sepsis, and other acute medical conditions.
- Provide dysphagia management and patient/caregiver education.
- Complete documentation in EPIC EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, PT, OT, and other rehab professionals.
- Float between acute inpatient, acute rehab, skilled rehab, and outpatient areas as needed.
Requirements
- CCC-SLP required.
- BLS required.
- Acute care experience required.
- Must be competent with VFSS / video fluoroscopy swallow studies.
- Must be comfortable working independently.
- Idaho SLP license required.
- Hospital/medical SLP experience preferred.
