Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in San Joaquin County. This position involves operating imaging equipment to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. The role requires collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure optimal imaging quality and patient safety.
Job Details
- Schedule: Evenings, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in radiologic technology; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) certification; Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in California or Hawaii; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Fluoroscopy license in California within 6 months of hire.
- Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explains procedures to patients, and prepares equipment and examination rooms.
- Positions patients for imaging exams, monitors patients during procedures, and ensures safety.
- Produces diagnostic images, documents exam information, reports important findings to physicians, and verifies exams on PACS.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Must have EPIC experience.
