CT Technologist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for medical diagnosis. The ideal candidate will perform various imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate imaging results.
Responsibilities- Operate CT equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
- Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy imaging procedures as required.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging processes.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings and assist in patient diagnosis.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and departmental procedures.
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with a focus on CT.
- Current state licensure in Radiologic Technology.
- Previous experience in CT imaging preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and safety.
