Warehouse Associate / Yard Switcher (Mid Shift & Evening)

JOB OVERVIEW

Thor Xpress Transport, LLC is a well-established and continually growing logistics company, specializing in air freight trucking, linehaul, LTL, FTL, warehousing, and cargo screening.

We are seeking a evening Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations while safely moving and positioning company trailers and other equipment in the yard as needed. This position is a combination of warehouse responsibilities and yard-switching duties. It requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Schedule: 4:00 PM-1:00 AM Monday through Friday.

KEY DUTIES

• Move and position trailers, tractors, and other company equipment within the yard as needed.
• Perform general warehouse duties, including loading, unloading, staging, organizing, and moving freight.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and properly.
• Receive and unload incoming shipments, inspect, log inventory and notate any damages.
• Locate outgoing freight, pack and label outgoing orders accurately.
• Organize warehouse space, perform routine inventory counts, and report discrepancies.
• Follow safety guidelines and established procedures while maintaining a clean work environment in the office and warehouse spaces.
• Ability to interact with drivers, internal teams, and customers as needed.
• May require extended hours based on operational needs and flexibility is appreciated.
• Ability to regularly move or lift heavy objects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
• Minimum of 1-year related experience and/or demonstrated training
• CDL preferred
• Ability to read and interpret safety manuals, procedural guidelines, and other related documents
• TSA airport security clearance eligibility

We are seeking an experienced regional CDL-A driver for a dedicated route between New Jersey and Boston, MA, operating three times per week. This position includes multiple scheduled stops along the route, with additional pay for stops and other applicable extras.
