Endoscopy Technician

A well-established, accredited ambulatory surgery center specializing in GI endoscopy is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician to join our clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during EGD, colonoscopy, and other GI endoscopic procedures
• Perform proper cleaning, high-level disinfection, and reprocessing of endoscopes per manufacturer and accreditation guidelines
• Set up and break down procedure rooms; ensure equipment and supplies are stocked and functioning
• Maintain scope tracking, repair, and maintenance logs
• Assist with patient positioning and comfort during procedures
• Support infection control and sterile processing standards
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system
• Collaborate with nursing and physician staff to ensure efficient patient flow

Qualifications

• Certified Gastroenterology Associate/Endoscopy Technician (CGRN/CFER preferred) or equivalent hands-on experience
• Prior experience in an ambulatory surgery center or GI endoscopy setting preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Knowledge of high-level disinfection (HLD) and endoscope reprocessing standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable in a small-team setting
