Avery Partners is looking for a Medical Assistant with Dermatology experience. If you have cosmetic derm experience, please apply!
Position is full time. Hours are 7am-5pm., 4, 10 hour shifts
Job Duties are:
- Prepare patients for exams
- Set up and assist provider with for all medical procedures
- Update medical history, take vitals
- Assist with biopsies, surgeries and cosmetic procedures
- Call patients with results
- E-scribing prescriptions
- Handle prior authorizations
- Knowledge of sterile technique and wound care
- Instrument cleaning/sterilization care
- Document visit
- schedule appointments
- stock rooms with supplies
- general housekeeping duties
- EMR exp. They have Nextech
- handle high patient volume and fast pace (around 50 patients every day)
