Matlock's Used Cars and Parts is looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to get automotive parts where they need to go.

You'll drive a company box truck, follow an assigned delivery route, interact with customers, and handle a wide range of automotive parts, including some of the heavy stuff like engines, transmissions, axles, and body panels.

This position offers 20–30 hours per week with a flexible weekday schedule, making it a great opportunity for someone seeking steady part-time work while maintaining flexibility in their week.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working independently, likes being out on the road, doesn't mind a physically active day, and understands the importance of being safe, dependable, and professional with customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate a company box truck to deliver parts to customer locations.
• Physically move heavy parts (including engines, transmissions, sheet metal, and axles/differentials) to and from the rear of the truck by hand.
• Collect payments from customers when required and accurately track all payments collected throughout the day.
• Reconcile and report collected payments at the end of each shift.
• Use a routing system via smartphone or tablet to plan and navigate delivery routes.
• Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery-related issues as they arise.
• Safely back up and maneuver the truck in tight or congested spaces.
• Maintain accurate delivery records as required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and pull at least 100 lbs. unassisted.
• Ability to repeatedly load/unload heavy items throughout a shift.
• Ability to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum age of 21 (insurance requirement).
• General proficiency with smartphone/tablet applications.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous delivery, route driving, or box truck experience.
• Familiarity with automotive parts or the automotive industry.
• Experience in a physically demanding, hands-on role.
• Experience using GPS, routing, or a delivery application.
