Now Hiring: Medical Assistant

Pay: $18.00–$18.50
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join a busy oncology practice. This role supports physicians and clinical staff by providing exceptional patient care while ensuring efficient clinic operations.

Responsibilities:

• Room patients and record vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication updates
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures
• Perform phlebotomy and administer injections as directed
• Prepare and stock exam rooms while maintaining infection control standards
• Schedule appointments, diagnostic tests, referrals, and follow-up visits
• Answer patient calls, assist with prescription requests, and complete administrative tasks
• Support patient education and maintain accurate medical records
• Assist with insurance authorizations, referrals, and obtaining outside medical records

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant experience in a hospital or clinic setting
• Phlebotomy experience preferred
• Current CPR certification required
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
