Job Description
HTF Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a full-time Kindergarten self-contained classroom in Gages Lake, Illinois.
Position Details:
- Position: Special Education Teacher
- Location: Gages Lake, IL 60030
- School: Primary
- Address: 17366 W. Gages Lake Rd., Gages Lake, IL 60030
- Grade Level: Kindergarten
- Classroom: Self-Contained
- Caseload/Class Size: Approximately 8–10 students
- Schedule: 7:25 AM – 3:00 PM
- Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours
- Start Date: August 19, 2026
Qualifications:
- Illinois LBS credential required
- Autism experience preferred
- Previous Special Education/self-contained classroom experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to Kindergarten students in a self-contained setting.
- Implement instruction based on students' IEP goals.
- Support students' academic, behavioral, and developmental needs.
- Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Collaborate with school staff and related service providers.
