Job Summary:
This is an Interventional Radiology Technologist position located in a healthcare facility. The role involves working in an interventional radiology setting, with a focus on imaging procedures. Candidates should possess an active Illinois license from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) and be board-certified through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The position offers a quick start for a 13-week ongoing contract, with shift hours typically between 7 and 9 AM, and a schedule of 12 hours per shift. The work schedule provides flexibility, with no weekend requirements currently, though weekend call duties may be added soon.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license from IEMA, ARRT certification as a radiologic technologist, and interventional radiology or cath lab experience. A minimum of 0 years of experience is required, with at least 2 years preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with cath lab experience or general x-ray skills who are willing to be trained in interventional procedures.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Candidates will assist with general x-ray procedures when interventional radiology cases are not ongoing. The position involves working with a new Siemens interventional radiology suite, with installation scheduled for 06/03. The role supports documentation in EPIC, and there are potential responsibilities for weekend call duties in the near future.
