Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Technologist in Illinois This is a 13-week position with an ongoing need at the healthcare provider organization. The role involves supporting the interventional radiology department with imaging procedures, requiring an active X-ray license and experience in interventional radiology or catheterization laboratory environments.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active Illinois licensed X-ray technologist certification through ARRT, current CPR/BLS, ACLS, and at least 1 year of related experience.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include assisting with interventional radiology procedures, potentially helping with general X-ray tasks when no interventional procedures are ongoing.
- This position requires an active Illinois license from IEMA and relevant experience. Training can be provided for candidates with catheter lab experience.
- On-call up to 10 days per month, typically 2 days per week, with future expansion to include weekend call.
- Documentation is handled via EPIC, with a new Siemens interventional radiology suite scheduled for installation on June 3rd.
- No current weekend requirements, but weekend call may be added soon.
