Job Summary
Pediatric Physical Therapist (Specialty: PT PEDS) responsible for providing therapy services to pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The assignment requires delivering effective patient care, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating within an interdisciplinary team. The position is situated in a healthcare facility with a focus on pediatric populations.
Job Details
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting 09/28/2026 and ending 12/28/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state Pediatric Therapist (PT) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 1 year of pediatric therapy experience, and a minimum of 1 year of applicable healthcare experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric inpatient and outpatient experience, proficiency with assessment tools, development of individualized treatment programs, familiarity with electrotherapy (e.g., ultrasound, TENS), and experience working with children with developmental delays or orthopedic conditions.
- Special Requirements: Must have inpatient pediatric physical therapy experience and pediatric outpatient experience.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be willing to work approximately 1-2 weekend shifts per month, including some holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Clinical responsibilities include gait training, assessment, patient family education, use of adaptive equipment, and performing evaluations for pediatric patients. The assignment involves minimal RTO restrictions, with all time off requests approved on an individual basis during the offer process.
- Submittal Instructions: Candidates should confirm whether they have previously worked at a healthcare organization in a permanent, travel, or registry capacity at any Providence facility, including location and dates. Must include two references covering one year of recent experience prior to start.
