Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Prepare and administer contrast media as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Document and report findings to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience in a hospital setting.
- Current certifications in ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
- Experience with Siemens equipment preferred.
- Proficiency in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and various CT procedures (e.g., coronary CTA, biopsies, etc.).
- Ability to work evening and night shifts, with floating between designated facilities as needed.
- Must obtain and maintain Rhode Island (RI) and Connecticut (CT) state licenses.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.
