Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and procedures with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as 3D Rendering and Multiplanar Reconstruction.
- Administer and prepare contrast media for imaging studies.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support teams including Radiology, Respiratory Services, and Physical Therapy.
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
- Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as required by the department.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT technology, with hospital experience preferred.
- Certification in ARRT CT and ARRT R.
- BLS certification is required; ACLS and NRP certifications are also mandatory.
- Proficiency in using EPIC charting system and Siemens equipment.
- Experience with a wide range of procedures including CT Arthrography, Coronary CTA, and Emergency Department imaging.
- Licensure in both Rhode Island and Connecticut is required, though candidates may start with one license while the other is pending.
- Ability to handle patient age groups ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
