Occupational Therapist - Outpatient/Acute Care/LTC Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleDay Shift: 5x8 Hour schedule (08:00 - 17:00)
Job DescriptionThe Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing comprehensive therapy services in an outpatient setting, acute care, and long-term care. The clinician will evaluate patients' needs, develop tailored treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions to enhance patient recovery and well-being.
Responsibilities- Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients' functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to promote patient progress.
- Document patient progress and modify treatments as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Current BLS certification.
- NBCOT certification required.
- Active Alaska Occupational Therapy license.
