Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) in a small, critical access hospital setting. This role involves providing outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facility services. The position offers an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team in a 40-bed medical center with diverse patient diagnoses, emphasizing hands-on therapeutic care to promote patient recovery and independence.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy, current BLS certification, NBCOT certification, and an active license in the state (a compact license is acceptable). Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; 0 years minimum experience also applicable.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient settings or with acute care and Long Term Care. NBCOT certification is required.
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required to cover outpatient, acute care, and long-term care/swing bed departments.
  • Additional Information: The assignment begins on 10/06/2026 and ends on 01/05/2027. Housing is provided and typically consists of large one-bedroom apartments or shared units. Travelers are expected to work three of the five major holidays and may be required to cover multiple inpatient units, including outpatient and LTC/swing bed services. Prior experience with electronic charting systems and a focus on acute care or inpatient therapy are preferred. Candidates must have valid state licensure in hand at submission, with at least 1 year of experience.
