Occupational Therapist - Outpatient/Acute Care/Long Term Care Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleDay shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 17:00). Variable schedule with no weekend requirements.
LocationFacility is located in Alaska. Candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles away from the facility.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide care in an outpatient, acute care, and long-term care settings. As a critical access hospital, our team plays a vital role in offering comprehensive rehabilitation services to our patients.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement appropriate therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities.
- Document patient progress and communicate with interdisciplinary team members.
- Advise patients and families on injury prevention and rehabilitation.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers as needed.
- BLS certification.
- NBCOT certification.
- Active Alaska state license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
